How often are follow-up appointments needed?

If you are seeking treatment for an acute condition that is not recurring, there will likely be no more than one to three follow-up appointments needed.

If you are seeking treatment for long-standing chronic conditions, one follow up per month for the first six months of treatment is recommended. Depending on the nature of your illness and your progress, these follow-up intervals may be longer or shorter. The suggested interval for follow-up appointments will be discussed with you during the initial consultation so you know what to expect.
